Description
Somatic Healing for Catholic Helping Professionals
We warmly welcome all Catholic helping professionals—therapists, spiritual directors, life coaches, and care providers—to a unique opportunity to explore a somatic approach to inner healing grounded in the wisdom of Catholic anthropology.
Sr. Mary Stephen, a religious sister for nearly 30 years and the creator of Restorative Catholic, will introduce how body-based practices support emotional, spiritual, and nervous system regulation—all within a faithful, Catholic framework.
Why Attend?
-
Personal Experience: Learn and experience somatic tools firsthand for your own well-being and integration.
-
Client Integration: Explore practical ways to weave these exercises into your existing sessions.
-
Complementary Care: Discover how Somatic Pilgrimages can serve as an additional, faith-based resource for your clients between their therapy, coaching, or direction sessions.
Participants in somatic programs develop a stronger ability to recognize dysregulation, drawing upon body-based tools to stay present, grounded, and engaged when difficult emotions arise. You do not need to become a certified somatic practitioner; Restorative Catholic is simply designed to enrich and support the care you already provide.
